ITALIAN CULTURE AND LANGUAGE COURSES
These courses are intended for non native-speaker adults who want to learn Italian. Lessons are given by qualified mother tongue teachers and carefully structured in order to attentively consider both personal and professional linguistic interests of the students.

Method
: the didactic/methodological teaching approach is a communicative/everyday situations approach. It is student-centred and based on the communicative function of the language: it heightens the emotional and cultural heritage of the students, identifies their linguistic/communicative needs, encouraging their motivation and learning process. The student, following the teacherÂ’s guidance, is therefore responsible for his/her improvement. This method takes into account the everyday contexts in which conversations occur and aims at achieving the integration of the Italian language with the other non-verbal communication forms.

The teaching program is divided into six levels as proposed by The European Council within the Linguistic Portfolio. A period of 14 months with a frequency of 80 lessons per month is to be taken into account in order to complete the 6 levels.

The courses are offered for a minimum of 2 weeks.

Entry level test:
candidates are admitted to the courses on the grounds of an entry-level test (both written and oral) that assesses the linguistic competence. This test can be done a) in the School  b) on the Internet (only the written part, after the enrolment; the oral part has to be done in the School).

A certificate of attendance will be issued for all the courses.
