AECS – Andalusian Education & Culture Solutions was founded in the Spanish city of Granada with the objective of providing high-quality academic services and intercultural programmes to students and diverse groups who would like to learn about and experience new cultures, with particular focus on countries in the Mediterranean region. At AECS, education and training are considered as pivotal in enhancing intercultural dialogue that transcends national constraints. Its vision is therefore to help unite cultures and promote global understanding through exchange programmes and worldwide education. Throughout all the year AECS organises standard, intensive and super intensive Spanish language and culture programmes aimed at young people and adults with a view to enabling students to reach a high level of written and oral expression and comprehension of the language. Such an approach ensures that each student benefits from a well-rounded learning experience. AECS’ techniques are based upon acquiring practical and linguistic Spanish language skills related to socio-cultural aspects of Spanish life. AECS also organises specific Spanish courses for professionals from different sectors: tourism, business, law, health, translation, engineering, chemistry, foreign language teaching, academic world, etc. The objective of these courses is to tailor the learning process adapting it to each student’s very individual needs. In all its courses, AECS teaches in a way that is effective and enjoyable. Integrated, diverse techniques are employed and combine the many different elements of language learning. Each week, AECS organises an activity programme for its students, which includes seminars and conferences, parties, concerts, shows, Spanish film screenings, workshops, etc. and offers students numerous weekend excursions in order for them to get to know Andalusia: Granada, Seville, Malaga, Cordoba, Nerja and other cities of historical and cultural interest within the region. AECS also works in partnership with several public and private institutions in Europe (UK, Italy, Belgium, France, Poland, Romania, etc.), in Latin America (Guatemala and Argentina), in the Arab World (Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Palestine, Jordan, Syria, Egypt, etc.) and in the United States and offers joint programmes with Universities and schools all around the world. In a few words, AECS is a cross-cultural institution at the interface between academic and corporate worlds. |
