Templeton House is a family run English Centre providing a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Set in 18 acres of its own grounds close to historical Oxford.
We offer a comprehensive range of courses tutored by our experienced teachers. Each course is carefully designed to develop and improve reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.
All of our teachers hold a university degree and a recognised language teaching qualification.
Before enrolment one of our teachers will provide you with friendly advice to help you select the right course for you.
Residential courses start weekly, students arrive on a Sunday and lessons start on the Monday of that week.

Templeton House has secure, relaxing, comfortable accommodation in a beautiful country house, set in its own grounds. The rooms are tastefully decorated, comfortable and well heated providing students with a relaxing atmosphere for study.
Individual bedrooms are available on request. Students on general English courses often share a room, which helps with student interaction and provides an extra opportunity to practice English and improve relationships during the course.
Wholesome country cuisine is provided with a vegetarian option. All three main meals and snacks are provided during the day, these are included in the course price. In the summer barbecues are provided in the garden. Tea and coffee are available free when ever required.
