The School Our school was established in 1983 and is the most centrally located language school in Cambridge. You will find the school in a charming, listed building, dating back to 1820, situated near the bustling Market Square in the heart of this historic University town and within walking distance of all the cities major attractions. The Student Services Centre, 2 minutes' walk from the school, provides a complete service before and after lessons. Here you will find Accommodation and Customer Relations staff, a resource centre for self-study including a library, a large internet room and a student lounge. The student lounge has wireless internet access and is an ideal place to relax with friends. In addition, a cinema system, TV, DVD and video facilities are available. Drinks and snacks can be purchased throughout the day. You can also join the EC Cambridge staff for a tea or coffee in the office kitchen at no cost! For one night every week the Centre will remain open until 22:30 offering internet access to all EC students.The City Cambridge is a compact, friendly city, making it easy to travel around on foot, by bus or by bicycle. It has a relaxed yet cosmopolitan feel. The centre of Cambridge has the charm of a market town with numerous shops, colourful market stalls and quaint old pubs. The town is rich in culture and has a wonderful historical atmosphere. Cambridge is a fantastic base from which to explore the UK; London is less than an hour away by train.
