 | Introduction
Clubclass is a residential language school which means that the school, accommodation and facilities are all situated within the same premises. Participants attending a course at Clubclass will learn and live within an international environment; this makes it ideal for students from all over the world to get together and communicate through the medium of English.
Location
Clubclass is centrally located in the quiet town of Swieqi, a safe residential area, within walking distance to the sandy beach of St. George’s Bay, Paceville and St. Julian’s. Paceville is Malta’s main entertainment hub where there are cinemas, a bowling alley, a shopping mall, restaurants, bars, discos, Malta’s leading hotels and other entertainment establishments. There is a bus stop across the road from the school.
The School
The school is licensed by the Ministry of Education and officially recognised by the Malta Tourism Authority to offer English Language training to foreign students. Clubclass is also a full member of FIYTO, ALTO and FELTOM [the Federation of English Language Teaching Organisations in Malta].
Courses
All teachers at Clubclass are native speakers of English and highly qualified to teach English to speakers of other languages [TESOL]. At Clubclass we offer courses for both adults and juniors. Adult courses in General English, Business / Executive English, Person to Person and Exam Preparation are offered all-year-round to students aged 18 and over. For juniors we offer 3 different courses - Teenskool, Parent & Child and Closed Groups. Teenskool is an all-inclusive programme offered during high season for students aged 12 to 17. The Parent & Child Programme is also offered during high season and children aged 7 and over can join this programme. Closed Groups are accepted throughout the year and the course, accommodation and social programme are tailor-made according to the specific requirements of the leader / teacher.
Accommodation
Clubclass offers various types of accommodation to suit the budget and requirements of any student. The one bedroomed and shared apartments are situated within the same premises as the school. The student houses are located across the road from Clubclass and all accommodation with carefully selected families is within walking distance from the school [maximum 20 minutes walk]. Accommodation in nearby hotels can also be arranged.
Facilities
Facilities at the residence include an outdoor swimming pool, heated indoor swimming pool, fitness centre, sauna, Jacuzzi, internet café, games room, coin-operated launderette, pub and restaurant.
