GV Calgary has been designed with premier facilities and classrooms which allow students to receive lots of personal attention. The school has two web-enabled classrooms with 15 stations in each plus one classroom introduced in 2009 with the "Smartboard" technology to provide students in the Advanced classes of the General English Program an additional teaching tool to improve their English at a rapid rate.
Accredited by Languages Canada, GV Calgary has very well qualified, professional and friendly staff. Our instructors take a personal interest in working with each student to improve English ability. The school offers many academic choices with option classes in the afternoon to supplement the General English program where the focus is on functional English and Interactive Communication in the mornings. GV has many specialized programs, which include IELTS Preparation, Cambridge Preparation, TESOL Diploma, Business English, TOEFL Preparation, Work Experience (paid and internships) as well as Teen Programs and customized Study Tours.
GV Calgary is an IELTS Test Centre and also offers Cambridge First and Advanced Certficate Exams, as well as the Cambridge BULATS Test. GV Calgary is also accredited to offer the Cambridge CELTA Teaching Training Program.
The school also offers accommodation services, with all homestays inspected and regularly evaluated. Computer access is a standard offering of host families who are approved by GV Calgary.
