The Spanish Chamber of Commerce in France (COCEF) developed a language examination in order to be able to prove Spanish knowledge in trade and economics.

Four skills are examined:
  • Written expression
  • Technical language proficiency
  • Grammar knowledge
  • Verbal comprehension


The examination is taken over three hours with one hour 50 minutes for the first three test and one hour for the verbal comprehension section. There is a 10-minute break in between and the verbal comprehension section is examined on the basis of tape recordings.
