Formacin Profesional de Profesores de Espaol (FOPELE)

Structure

FOPELE is offered in three versions:

  • Máster de FOPELE; 80 credits (0–24 months)
  • Diploma de FOPELE; 40 credits (15–18 months)
  • Certificados de FOPELE; 18 credits (4-6 months)


Target group

Spanish teachers at private and national educational facilities from elementary and high school to college and higher education.
University graduates of similar fields, who intend to work as Spanish teachers.
The courses address Spanish teachers from the USA, Latin America, Spain and Europe and were developed by the Universidad de Vigo, Universidad de León and Universidad de Piura through the international cooperation of different universities and foundations like the Fundación Universitaria Iberoamericana in Peru.
FOPELE courses are delivered via distance learning. Candidates should be teachers and college graduates interested in developing the expertise needed to instruct children, young people and adults in Spanish. By connecting theory and practice, converting new ideas and strategies to vocational practice, and testing new training techniques in instruction, seasoned teachers and beginning teachers are presented with new language teaching concepts.
