Certificato di Conoscenza della Lingua Italiana 3 (CELI 3)
The Certification Unit of the Università per Stranieri di Perugia has developed The CELI examination system, which tests the knowledge of learners of Italian as a foreign language.
Structure
- Reading; fill in the blank questions for simple phrases in texts taken from public notices, advertisements, stories, cartoons, questionnaires, news items, etc.
- Writing; producing short written texts such as letters, postcards and messages; filling documents, taking into account the specified audience and purpose
- Listening; true/false questions, three-option multiple-choice, matching
- Speaking; dealing with communicative tasks and social situations
Results
Each component is equally weighted and is given 25% of the total marks. There are three pass grades: A, B and C.
