Certificat de Français du Tourisme et de l'Hôtellerie (CFTH)
The CFTH was established by the Paris Chamber of Commerce and serves as a proof of language skills and professional know-how in tourism, the hotel industry and gastronomy. Examinees should be able to deal with all relevant issues like welcoming and informing guests, and making reservations. In addition, basic knowledge of socio-economic and cultural issues in this field is required.
The examination can be taken in various locations throughout the world, such as French cultural institutes, Alliance Française institutes, private or public universities and schools, language centres and education centres.
