Deutsch als Fremdsprache in der Wirtschaft (WiDaF)
The WiDaF is a German language proficiency test designed to assess an individual’s ability to use German with regards to economics and business. Applicants must have an advanced or higher level of knowledge, but native speakers are excluded from the examination. The test can be taken at recognised examination centres in France and all candidates receive a certificate confirming their level of proficiency.
Structure
The time required for the entire test is approximately two hours and 30 minutes and consists of the following parts:
- Business vocabulary and grammar
- Written comprehension
- Listening comprehension
Results
Candidates can archive a maximum of 990 points. All receive a certificate and description of their level of proficiency which gives future employers a proof of the language competencies of the examinee.
