AFMLTA (Australian Federation of Modern Language Teachers Associations Inc.)

AFMLTA is the national professional body representing teachers of all languages in Australia. The role of AFMLTA is to promote language learning in Australia with activities including the distribution of information on languages, language learning and language teaching, and the organisation of national conferences and workshops, especially the Biennial National Languages Conference. In addition, AFMLTA publishes the national language teaching journal "Babel" and an information bulletin.
