AIEJ (Association of International Education, Japan)
AIEJ was founded in 1957 with the aim of advancing international exchange in education. The organisation, which is financed mainly by the government, serves as the central association in carrying out projects related to international education under the auspices of the Japanese Ministry of Education, Science, Sports and Culture, universities, and other educational institutions. The organisation's information centre was established to provide advice on studying abroad and provides appropriate information to foreigners wishing to study at an institution of higher education in Japan and to Japanese individuals wishing to study abroad. The information centre arranges, collects and makes available for reference prospectuses of higher educational institutions and language schools in Japan and abroad.
