IAPA (International Au Pair Association)
Founded in 1994, IAPA is the international trade association for qualified au pair agencies and companies actively involved in the au pair industry. The main aim of IAPA is to protect the rights of all au pairs and host families while establishing internationally approved guidelines for au pair exchange programmes. IAPA also seeks to monitor the performance of au pair organisations, to provide an independent body to which au pairs and host families may apply for information and address their concerns and to promote au pair programmes among young people throughout the world in order to assist in the development of friendly, peaceful relations.
