International scholarships
Rotary Club Scholarships
The purpose of the Ambassadorial Scholarship programme is to further international understanding and studies abroad as well as to promote friendly relations among people. The programme sponsors different applicants and offers two different scholarships: the academic-year Ambassadorial Scholarship or the multi-year Ambassadorial Scholarship. Students who qualify for a Rotary Club scholarship have completed at least two years of education, or they are professionals pursuing vocational studies. They have to be nationals of one of the countries where a Rotary Club exists. While abroad, scholars serve as ambassadors of goodwill to the people of the host country and give presentations about their homeland to Rotary Clubs and other groups.
