The Catholic University of Lublin is recognized worldwide as a prestigious private university. The school of Polish Language and Culture, founded over 30 years ago, offers a unique opportunity to learn the Polish language at one of the most experienced language training establishments in Poland Â– offers excellent tuition at an affordable price. All our teachers have academic background and have many years of experience as teachers of Polish as a foreign language.

We offer:

- the summer programme organised in two series of courses: the first series starts in mid-July, and the second starts at the beginning of August, with a choice of courses lasting 2, 3, 4 or 5 (July only) weeks, and of three levels of intensity. Each day comprises a number of language classes (depending on the chosen level of intensity) and a lecture (delivered both in Polish and in English). Additionally, all courses offer a variety of social and cultural activities.

- the year-round programme: the intensive study course, available to students at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels, is designed for those seeking to achieve versatile communications skills. On completion of the course, participants should be able to master the Polish language sufficiently to begin university studies or work in Poland.

- individual courses: organised at the special request of individuals or companies, courses can also be provided on a one-to-one tutor-student basis or for small individual groups.

The curriculum includes lectures (in Polish and English) on Polish culture, film, theatre, art, music, literature, history, sociology, and a Polish language course. An important part of the programme is trips around Poland. Another part of the programme was made up of presentations of Polish films, performances of folk groups and theatrical performances. The Business Polish Programme has been created for those who need it for professional purposes. The School of Polish Language and Culture is a member of the national system of awarding certificates of Polish as a foreign language.
