Salminter

SALMÍNTER is a college exclusively devoted to teaching Spanish to non-native speakers. The college was founded in 1986 and has welcomed thousands of students since. Professional teaching is very important to us, and therefor the number of participants per group is restricted to 10 (an average of 6).

Apart from language courses, SALMÍNTER also offers courses in Spanish culture (Literature, History, Art, Contemporary Spain) and special courses in Business and Administrative Spanish and Translation.

Special programmes for groups (suited to the needs of every respective group) are also available.

We would like to stress the importance of friendly relations between students and teachers, which is inseparable from a professional attitude towards teaching. We do our best to make a student's stay in Salamanca as fruitful and as pleasant as possible. Apart from cultural events, sport activities and our monthly “fiesta”, foreign students have the possibility of meeting their Spanish colleagues, which not only offers an opportunity to exchange ideas but also encourages communication in Spanish.

SALMÍNTER provides accommodation on request, with families or in flats shared with other foreign and Spanish students, students’ residences, studios, hotels or apart-hotels.

Weekend excursions are organised by the college to the places of historic and cultural interest or simply to those famous for their panoramic beauty. Visits, Spanish films, debates, dance classes, etc.

SALMÍNTER is located in the very centre of the town, one minute's walk from the Plaza Mayor. The premises include 7 classrooms in winter, 5 more in the summer season, equipped with TV and video. There is also a small reference library.
