Instituto Español 'Murallas de Avila' (IEMA)

Since 1989, Instituto Español Murallas de Avila (“IEMA”) has been offering courses in general Spanish as well as Spanish for specific purposes such as Spanish teacher training courses , DELE preparation courses and other: Spanish Gastronomy and Wines , Spanish customs, courses 50+ etc.

IEMA offers lodging and board with Spanish families, hotels, excursions, leisure activities as well as cultural immersion.

The individualised attention given to IEMA students guarantees a good progress and a familiar ambiance.

IEMA is a small school which guarantees quality: IEMA is accredited by Instituto Cervantes, Universidad de Alcalá, collaborations with other universities or oficial institutions. It is located in an historic building in the center of the World Heritage City of Avila.

Avila is located in the Heart of Spain, near to Madrid, Salamanca, Segovia, El Escorial, Toledo. Avila is ideal for all those looking for a smaller city (60,000 h.), where a good Spanish is spoken and which is safe, well situated and economical.
