HISPANO CONTINENTAL

Hispano Continental is located in the historic centre of Salamanca, just one minute from the famous Plaza Mayor and is at the heart of all the city’s activities.

The school, founded in 1989 with the aim of creating a pleasant atmosphere in which to learn Spanish, has been extremely successful, illustrated by the fact that increasing numbers of students form all over the world choose to come and study with us.

Our teaching methods focus primarily on oral communication and interactive exercises and are continually being improved and developed. All of our highly experienced teachers are native speakers and graduates in Spanish Language.

One of the most important aspects of our school is the personal nature of the teaching, allowing the student to progress easily and rapidly. Groups are small and students can begin their courses every Monday of the year. Before starting their course, students take a language test in order to establish their level of Spanish, thus ensuring homogenous groups which enable students to progress at the same rate.

Besides learning in your Spanish class, you can complement your training with the different activities offered by H.C. Every weekend the centre arranges excursions.

You also have access to the library at the Centre, and can use the lending service for books, videotapes, C.D´s and D.V.D.

Many cultural and social activities are offered by Hispano Continental:

ACCOMMODATION

Staying with families: we take care in selecting our host families so that the student can easily become part of the family, which gives them the opportunity to practise the language as much as possible. The families are visited on a regular basis in order to monitor living conditions and ensure that the highest standards are maintained at all times.

Flat sharing: we also offer the possibility of sharing a flat with other students of our school or with Spanish university students.

Residences: the residences are in the centre of the city, very close to the Hispano Continental School.

Hotels and Hostels: The school will make reservations on request at hotels and hostels.
