A choice of 2 locations

With only a few exceptions, the full programme is offered at both our campuses. Students can choose a location when they book and they can change location during the course if they want to.

IALC Member

Good Hope Studies is a member of the prestigious international association IALC (International Association of Language Centres). Regular and strict on-site inspections guarantee a high level of quality.

Good Hope Studies receives students from over 40 countries each year. We can therefore offer a student nationality mix that is unusual for Cape Town.

Friendly, experienced and well-trained staff

There is a great atmosphere at the school that is largely due to the friendly staff. Ongoing inhouse training ensures that our staff members are well-trained. Most teachers have at least a CELTA.

CELTA training centre

Good Hope Studies runs the internationally recognised teacher training course, CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).

A comprehensive programme

We offer a wide variety of courses and of accommodation options. In addition, we offer group programmes, internship - and volunteer programmes, long-term courses and follow-on tours.
