ELFE École de Langue Française pour Étrangers

E.L.F.E is a human-sized school located in the centre of Paris, 15 minutes on foot from the Opera Garnier and 10 minutes from Montmartre and the Sacré Coeur. The school benefits from calm and leafy surroundings, which are exceptional in the city.      

Very personalised teaching thanks to our small groups.
Unlike most other French language schools, we offer courses in mini-groups, with a maximum of 6 people. Small groups ensure efficient and high-quality teaching, and rapid progress.

Mini-group courses start each Monday all around the year, (except for beginners: the first Monday of each month).
Individual lessons can start any time (Monday to Saturday)  

A complete immersion into French culture and the Parisian way of life
Through our varied cultural programme students can discover the appeal of Parisian life and French culture: civilisation lessons with an excursion in Paris, cookery and wine-tasting. E.L.F.E. encourages contact between students through regular drinks at the school.
 
Accommodation in carefully selected families.
Living in homestay accommodation provides our students with the perfect opportunity to experience French family life and to practice their French after class.  We can guarantee the quality of our families in Paris due to a rigorous selection process. If students prefer to stay in a hotel or a self-catering apartment, we can book a very nice one close to the school.

General French in mini-groups: MG15 

  • 15 full-hours of lessons in mini-groups in the morning
  • Start every Monday all year round (except beginners)
  • From 9am to 12am (except on Monday from 10am to 1pm)
COMBINED COURSES
From 3 to 6 students 

General French in mini-groups and 1:1 tuition : Combi 5 or 10
  • 15 full-hours of lessons in mini-groups in the morning
  • 5 or 10 full hours of individual tuition in the afternoon
  • Start every Monday all year round (except beginners)
INDIVIDUAL TUITION
  • Tailored to the student’s individual interests, level and timetable.
  • To prepare for examinations (Chamber of Commerce, DELF, DALF) or to specialise in a particular professional field (finance, insurance, tourism, law, diplomacy)
  • As a supplement to a mini-group class
