World Cup specialChoose Bell Bedgebury Language Centre if you want to combine the best of English town and country. Set in 220 acres of beautiful parkland, the centre provides the perfect setting for students who want to immerse themselves in their language studies. After class, students can take advantage of the on-site recreational facilities from tennis to art classes or explore the nearby towns of Hastings, Brighton and Canterbury.

The Frank Bell Centre, opened in March 2009, provides students with dedicated study and social facilities. The main school building dates from the 17th century and is the focus for dining and sports.

Our contemporary centre includes:

  • Attractive, well-equipped classrooms, many with interactive whiteboards
  • A contemporary study centre with views of the Bedgebury estate. The study centre has an extensive library, self-study aids and reference materials and is open 7 days a week. Dedicated staff are on hand to advise and help with your study.
  • The latest magazines and journals, daily newspapers and DVD players with a wide range of films to choose from
  • A multimedia suite with PCs
  • Free internet access and WiFi
  • A large social space with comfortable seating, refreshments, table football, a pool table and table tennis
  • An outdoor twenty-five metre swimming pool (open seasonally)

  • Fishing at one of the three lakes on the estate – you will need to bring your own equipment

Accommodation options

The Bell Bedgebury Language Centre is the only Bell UK centre to offer a true campus experience, with on-site single room accommodation. However, those looking for a more independent experience can choose from a range of homestay families or local hotels and guesthouses. Students staying in homestay accommodation in Hastings or Tunbridge Wells are provided with a free shuttle service to and from Bell Bedgebury Language Centre. Free regular shuttle buses also run between Bedgebury and the train station in Tunbridge Wells.
