Academy of languages - F+U Heidelberg

Since 1980 we have taught all important languages successfully in Heidelberg. Today, the F+U Academy of Languages is one of the largest language schools in Germany. Every year, approximately 5000 students from about 100 countries participate in our language courses in Heidelberg.

Heidelberg, with its beautiful setting, the harmonious ensemble of the castle, old town and river in the midst of wooded mountains, is regarded as one of the most beautiful cities in Germany. Year after year, millions of tourists travel here from around the world to let themselves be enchanted by Heidelberg’s magic. With the oldest university in Germany (founded 1386) the city looks back over an 800-year history.

The F+U school complex is in the bustling centre of the city and the Neckar is a mere stone’s throw away. You can find our language school in the Hauptstraße 1, in the shopping mall “Darmstädter-Hof-Centrum” at the Bismarckplatz. A trip to the castle and Philosopher’s Walk are both worth a stroll. We are just a few minutes away from the main train station by tram.

We offer for German as a Foreign Language courses intensive courses with 20 or 30 lessons per week (in the morning and in the afternoon), intensive courses in small groups, DSH- and TestFaF-preparation, Business German, conversation, evening courses, Junior courses and individual tuition.

F+U language school is recognised test center for TestDaF, DSH (on behalf of the Studienkolleg of the University of Mittweida), TOEFL, LCCI, TOEIC, TELC and many more.

Our lessons are based on the European Framework of Reference (CEF) from very beginner to advanced. 

We offer our students a very range of accommodation possibilities and rich programme of leisure and cultural activities.

Besides, at our institute you can learn other languages such as English, Spanish, Italian, French and all other most spoken languages. We also offer courses in further education such as foreign language correspondent, multi-lingual secretary, translator, interpreter.
