The Diploma de Español de Negócios is proof of Spanish business language competency. It confirms that the candidate has good knowledge of the economics, law and administration of Spain and Latin America, for which a very good control of the technical language is necessary.
Structure of exam
Reading comprehension:
- First Text; muliple-choice questions related to a specialized text (15 minutes)
- Second Text; Mmuliple-choice questions related to a text concerning socio-economics (25 minutes)
Authentic texts from economics, finance and law from Spain or Latin America are used.
Specific knowledge of the foreign language:
- Complete corresponding terms (15 minutes)
- Answering questions (35 minutes)
Creation of texts:
- Compose a text about Spanish or Latin American socio-economic theme. There are two themes to chose from (70 minutes)
Oral examination:
- Reading and summarizing a specialized text (10 minutes)
- Summary and subsequent discussion about a theme that is suggested by the testing commission (10 minutes)
